About Kirk
Business leader and 43-year security industry veteran, Kirk MacDowell is the founder and CEO of MacGuard Security Advisors. Bringing insight from his time at industry innovator Alarm.com, top Fortune 100 manufacturers General Electric and United Technologies, a top 50 SDM integrator, and his own electronic security firm, Kirk now offers guidance on how to innovate, transform, and compete in today’s ever-changing electronic security landscape.
A sought-after industry speaker, Kirk also remains active in many associations serving on numerous industry and private company boards. He was the Past Board of Director of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and The Monitoring Association (TMA), past Chairman of AIREF (Alarm Industry Research & Education Foundation), and past president of the Los Angeles County Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (LABFAA). Kirk currently serves as the Chairman of the Security Industry Alarm Collation (SIAC), and Chair of ESA’s Leadership Identification and Nominating Committee (LINC).
About Bill
Bill Graham has over 45 years of experience in the security segment. As former Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Guardian Protection, he was responsible for overseeing the development of Guardian’s Builder Division, spearheading the creation and expansion of its Builder Program to the largest full-service integrator in the country, with over 50,000 rooftops by 2007.
About Deb
Deb Moretti is a 25-year security industry veteran. Former Director of Customer Experience with Guardian Protection, she was involved in the formation, development, and daily management of the Customer Experience function for this successful integrator. Now, Deb brings her diverse experience, which also included Sales, Operations and Administration, to provide customized CX programs for MacGuard clients.
About Joy
Joy Curtiss leads Marketing efforts for MacGuard. She is a veteran marketer with more than 18 years of experience in the security industry. She directed marketing teams at several top electronic security organizations that included CASI-RUSCO, GE Security, and United Technologies with her most recent role as Director of Strategic Marketing, Global Security Products. Prior to working in the security business, Joy held positions in advertising, as well as creative services for a leading publisher and event management company.
